Hardly anyone likes to talk about illness and dying. Prevention affects everyone, regardless of age. It is important to address this issue well in advance of an emergency. LebensFaden helps introduce people to the topic of prevention so that they are prepared for a possible emergency. With LebensFaden, we address people of all denominations from the age of 18. You will receive information on the subject of patient care (especially Christian patient care) for yourself or people close to you. At the same time, you will receive support and guidance in dealing with living wills, health care proxy and care wills.

We do this through:

Information meetings

The discussions by trained volunteers enable you to reflect on personal values and develop your own pension options.

In lectures for small or large groups, you will receive basic information on the subject of health care proxy, care directives and living wills.

Patient care means dealing with your own wishes and values. It helps that your opinion is represented even if you can no longer express your will. This allows you to relieve relatives of difficult decisions.

We take into account theological and ethical aspects of a Christian approach to the end of earthly life and explain the most important legal aspects.

LebensFaden is an initiative of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese in cooperation with Caritas. We have a network of experts and work closely with other organizations to which we would be happy to refer you. LebensFaden does not provide legal advice.

Due to the current situation, we only conduct informational discussions as telephone calls or video conferences. Please contact us if necessary!

Often it is the joyful or the sad occasions in life that move us to take stock of our life.
These moments give us impulses. We see what was and what will be. Perhaps you are also thinking about donating part of your estate to a good cause? Information on the various options can be found on the Caritas website created for this purpose.
