Munich (ots) - LinkedIn selects the authors with the highest quality content for their own editorial platform.

Today LinkedIn publishes the list of the 25 "Top Voices" for 2017. These are the members in German-speaking countries who regularly shine on the LinkedIn editorial platform with frequently shared expert contributions. The editorial platform is a central point of contact for the ten million users who keep up to date with new industry trends, technologies or industry insights.

Influencers like Daimler boss Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Innogy CEO Peter Terium and Miriam Meckel, the publisher of Wirtschaftswoche, regularly share insights with the public. But many members also pass on their professional knowledge on the platform and are now particularly honored with the Top Voices list.

"For the first time, we are also publishing our list of LinkedIn Top Voices for 2017 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A combination of data and editorial criteria was used to create the Top Voices list. In particular, it was taken into account how often articles, short articles and videos of a member were liked, commented on and shared. The rating also includes how much your follower growth was influenced by your publications on LinkedIn and how often your content was added to the editorial platform - a sign of high quality. LinkedIn has also made a point of accommodating a variety of topics and voices.

The list relates to the activities within a twelve-month period from November 2016 to November 2017. As with all LinkedIn lists, employees from LinkedIn and Microsoft were not included.
