What is Boca Raton Florida known for?

Boca Raton real estate market: Luxury and South Florida lifestyle

Boca Raton is the southernmost town in Palm Beach County, into which it was first incorporated in 1924 as "Bocaratone". In the heart of the city is the Mizner Park shopping and leisure center, where, in addition to fashion boutiques and popular restaurants, there are also the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the Count de Hoernle Amphitheater. Another high-quality mall is the Boca Town Center, the largest indoor shopping mall in Palm Beach County. Not only is Boca Raton considered the center of a luxurious lifestyle, it is also home to the main campus of Florida Atlantic University, the headquarters of many large corporations and the Evert Tennis Aademy. In addition to many first-class public schools, there are also various private and religious institutions.

The architecture of the city center, largely in the style of the Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival, was inspired by Addison Mizner, who had a great influence on the early development of the city. According to a city council resolution, a station on the Brightline rapid transit line is to be built by 2022, through which Miami Airport, the inner cities of Aventura, West Palm Beach and later Orlando and Tampa will be easily accessible. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the line is currently out of service, but the rail company has made arrangements to restart trains later this year if the situation allows.

For the housing market, Boca Raton is known for its luxury homes, which range from waterfront properties to residential towers in the city center and close to the beach to properties in country club communities with golf courses and other upscale recreational facilities. After relatively little construction had been done for a while, there has been a significant boom in this regard in the past few years, as Boca Raton has become more and more a magnet for people looking for a property in which to live enjoy the South Florida lifestyle.

At this point I would like to take a closer look at the latest apartment towers that have either recently been completed or are currently under construction. These are the "Tower 155", "327 Royal Palm", "Akoya Boca West" and the "Alina Residences". All four luxury condominiums offer world-class amenities and a unique lifestyle. The downtown buildings are within walking distance of popular fine dining restaurants, luxury shopping and entertainment venues.

Two of the photos above give an impression of a three-bedroom, two-bath, 155-square-foot apartment on the 11th floor of Tower 155. Less than a year old, it is on sale for $ 1,700,000. Tower 155 takes care of its residents with a porter's lodge manned around the clock and a valet service, caretaker and administration are located directly on site. All 128 residential units have 3-meter-high ceilings, handmade Italian furniture and household appliances from Bosch.
