Window regulator Coupe: The rear window does not automatically shut down

    Hello friends,
on my C140, the rear right window no longer automatically closes when I open the passenger door or the passenger door window. However, we imagine that when the passenger door is closed, after the front passenger window has been opened automatically, it "wants to close" but no longer "can" because it is closed to the maximum from the start. At least one "hears" and "feels" this "attempt".
Otherwise it works flawlessly. The problem has apparently only occurred since the renovation of the window regulator on the front passenger door.

Can the rear windows be "taught in"? If so, how? I've tried all the common methods. Is there a control unit for this same rear right window? If so, where is it located and who has further information.

    Thanks for all the help

    Greetings Christian

Hi, with the general "teach-in" function, you learn both windows .....

read the thread "Problems with window regulator C 140, CL 420", I have a similar problem, or search for "window regulator"

I actually think that my control unit is also defective.
I just had the following incident:
I opened the vehicle using the infrared remote control, and when I opened the door, all 4 windows suddenly went to about 1/3 open position. When starting, the ESP and ABS lights were also off, which were previously on permanently (Star Diagnosis says steering angle sensor).
In any case, the rear right window now also closes when the door is opened or when the front right window is opened. Maybe I just have a general electrical problem. The battery poles look pretty scruffy, I think that's where I go for the days.

I keep the thread up to date whether the problem recurs and, if so, whether a used comfort control device can help. Alternatively, I would try to open the current one and re-solder or replace the electrolytic capacitors. In any case, it has always worked wonders for Daimler control units and relays.
